The First 15 badge can be awarded to new volunteers when they complete their first 15 meetings – a great way to celebrate those who have not long started out on their Girlguiding Scotland volunteering journey! This fab new badge comes with a colourful card that can be used to keep track of and mark off meetings that have been completed until a volunteer hits the milestone 15 meetings target!
We’re thrilled to reveal the brand new Out and About Challenge for 2022! This year we’re challenging you to get out and about with your unit to create some environmental art!
To mark the final year of Chief Commissioner team being in post they’ve created this challenge as an opportunity for units to get out and about, be active and celebrate guiding! The challenge can be completed individually or as a unit, and there are challenges for young members as well as for adult members!
The brand new Hear me out activity pack is here! This is a great opportunity for your unit to really tell us what you think and what you’d like to see from us. We want to know everything from what kind of events you want to see to who we should be partnering with. There’s a selection of interactive games throughout the pack that you and your girls can get stuck into.
The Out and About Challenge is back and this year we’ve created an exciting new resource all about wee beasties, bugs, creepy crawlies, critters – whatever you like to call them! This a great opportunity for girls to go on an outdoor adventure and earn themselves a brand new badge!
Who says the darker nights have to be dull? Take on an Out and About in the Dark 2020 challenge with your unit, or your family, for your chance to earn a brand new badge! It’s been created to encourage and support girls to go on outdoor adventures at night, learn about the night skies, discover nocturnal animals and so much more.
We’ve launched our brand new #MediaMindful campaign & challenge pack! It’s been created with Gender Equal Media Scot and the University of Strathclyde to help equip girls with the skills they need to spot harmful gender stereotypes in the media and ask for better. This pack is full of fun activities for all ages and can be completed online.
