Peer Education

Girlguiding Scotland has a team of around 70 peer educators aged 14-25 who have been trained to run safe, fun and challenging sessions for their peers. Sessions focus on issues like body confidence, mental well-being and bullying.

Young leader qualification

If you’re between 14 and 18, develop your leadership skills while supporting a local unit with the Young Leader qualification!

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

We’ve joined forces with the DofE to offer our members the opportunity to work towards completing this fantastic award!

Queen’s Guide Award

The Queen’s Guide Award is a challenging programme packed full of fun outdoor adventures and community action.

Speak Out

Speak Out is Girlguiding Scotland’s youth voice, influencing the direction of our advocacy work and making sure girls views are heard. It was launched in 2018 as part of the Year of Young People and gives girls a platform to use their voices and seek change at the highest levels.

Scottish Youth Parliament

We want all young people to get engaged with the democratic process and be empowered to speak out about issues they care about. We have two representatives on the Scottish Youth Parliament, also known as MSYPs.
