Girlguiding Scotland is Scotland’s leading charity for girls and young women, and also supports more than 9,000 volunteers. Our Board of Trustees, run by our most senior volunteer, the Scottish chief commissioner, makes sure everything we do helps us achieve our mission to inspire and empower girls in every community in Scotland.
Our vision: an equal world, where girls can make a positive difference, be happy, safe, and fulfil their potential.
Our mission: Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure, we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.
Our values: Caring, challenging, empowering, fun, inclusive, inspiring.

Every member of Girlguiding Scotland and fellow leaders around the world make their Promise.
Our amazing volunteers have a brilliant time too – learning new skills and becoming inspiring role models for girls and young women in their area. But with thousands of girls on our waiting lists, we still need more people to get involved and volunteer.
