A Girlguiding Scotland trainer is an inspiring, qualified volunteer who helps other volunteers to learn and apply the skills they need to great unit meetings. This could be anything from leading and managing people to bringing our programme for girls to life. You can also choose to be a trainer in a specialist subject such as first aid, water activities, peer education or fundraising.

We have a dedicated Girlguiding Scotland training team who will support you whether you’re working towards your qualification, helping other trainers to learn or delivering training sessions.

To find out what it’s all about and download an application form, go to the training section on the Girlguiding website.

If you’d like to book a training session on any topic then please contact the development coordinator for your county, who will work with the Scottish Training team to organise it.
