Terms and conditions

  • There may be specific terms and conditions for an event, these will be located within the event listing here and will always take precedence over this page of generic terms and conditions
  • Unless otherwise stated, events are open only to current members of Girlguiding
  • Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis and events may sell out prior to the booking deadline
  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking and is non-refundable
  • Your booking is not confirmed until we have received the full fee – if paying by BACS or cheque, payment must be received within 14 days of booking or your tickets will be cancelled
  • You must use your booking ID as your payment reference (BACS and cheque payments only), if no reference is included we may cancel your booking
  • If there are any issues with the payment received (for example, the amount differs from the amount expected for the number of places booked, a cheque is not dated or signed, a cheque is returned by the bank unpaid, etc.) Girlguiding Scotland reserves the right to cancel the booking and return the payment minus any administrative fee incurred
  • Please ensure you have read our privacy notice
  • If you cancel your tickets after paying or do not attend the event, you will not receive your ticket fee back
  • Ticket holders are responsible for ensuring they meet all the usual requirements for a Girlguiding trip – consent forms, home contact, maintaining correct ratios, risk assessment, etc.
  • If for any reason Girlguiding Scotland has to cancel an event, we will rearrange the date wherever possible. Where it is not possible to rearrange the date, you will receive a full refund minus the cost of any services already delivered
