Coronavirus (COVID-19) update from Netherurd

We hope you are all staying safe out there! The situation that we find ourselves in is very unusual and we appreciate your continued patience and support.

Here at Netherurd we would like to provide an update on cancellations and refunds. We have already been in touch with groups who had booked in April and May. Bookings for June onwards will be reviewed on a monthly basis.

If your group cancels their booking

If you take the decision that you wish to cancel your booking with us and we are operational we will be happy to postpone your booking to a date within a year of the original booking. However, if you do not wish to do this then unfortunately we will not be able to refund your deposit.

If you choose to cancel your ‘fun day’ booking with us any payments made will not be refunded and cannot be transferred.

If Netherurd (or a third party) cancels your booking

If Netherurd or Government advice requires us take the decision to cancel your booking then we will transfer your deposit to another date, or if no suitable date can be found then we will refund your deposit. For those transferring their deposit to a new date in 2021, we will keep the site fees to those of 2020.

If the ‘fun days’ are cancelled then a full refund for fees paid will be offered.

A message from the Netherurd manager

We hope to have new ‘fun days’, activity days and Netherurd stays for you to look forward to in the near future, so do keep your eyes peeled for future updates on social media and via the Girlguiding Scotland newsletter. If you have any questions, please send us an email and we’d be happy to help.

Stay safe and best wishes,

Sarah Crocombe
