Inclusion adviser for members with additional support needs

If you’d like to take the next step in your volunteering journey and want a new challenge then we want to hear from you!

The role

We’re looking for a lead volunteer to champion the inclusion of members with additional support needs. You’ll provide guidance and support to enable local volunteers to make this happen wherever it is reasonable and practical to do so. The successful candidate will become a member of the Girlguiding Scotland team which helps counties resolve concerns and complaints.

When we talk about members with additional support needs, we also include members who have long-term conditions. Disabilities and long-term conditions can include (but are not limited to) mental health problems, physical impairments, sensory impairments, learning disabilities or long-standing medical conditions.
