Speak Out

Speak Out is Girlguiding Scotland’s youth voice, influencing the direction of our advocacy and shaping the future of guiding in Scotland. It gives girls a platform to use their voices and seek change at the highest levels.

How does it work?

Speak Out is a forum for Girlguiding Scotland members led by a peer elected committee who are responsible for running the group, whether it’s planning the next get-together or publicising upcoming opportunities.

The group holds day and weekend events all around Scotland. Speak Out events are a great way to try new activities, gain new skills and to influence the advocacy work in Scotland. Keep an eye on our What’s On page to find out when the next event is.

How do I join?

If you’re a member aged 14-25 who’s passionate about and issues that affect girls and young women, we’d love for you to be a part of Speak Out! Join the Facebook group today where we gather the opinions of Speak Out members on all sorts of issues.
