Register of persons holding a controlling interest in land or property (RCI)
Register of persons holding a controlling interest in land or property (RCI) is a Registers of Scotland (RoS) register, required by law, that was launched on 1 April 2022. It is free to submit and free to search. You can find the register here.
The register seeks to show who controls the decisions of owners or tenants (for more than 20 years) of land and property in Scotland, where this information may not be publicly available elsewhere.
Girlguiding Scotland have put together some guidance, which includes step by step instructions to help with registering guiding property.
If you have any questions about registering a property, or the guidance, please contact the Girlguiding Scotland property support group on property@girlguiding-scot.org.uk or the governance team on governance@girlguiding-scot.org.uk.
