Join us for the very first Routes: Meet session.

This in-person meet-up is here to support you build real-world connections and friendships with other 18 to 30 year olds across Girlguiding Scotland.

We know it can be hard to figure out what’s available in guiding for your age group – especially if you don’t have a peer already in a role to talk to. That’s why we’re hosting a meet up where you can connect with peers from a range of roles beyond unit leadership – including flexible options that fit around uni, work, and life. 

We’ll be bringing together people in the Routes community from across the country, so it’s a great opportunity to meet others from your area (or a new area!)

Expect to:

• Meet others and participate in activities that spark discussion
• Discover new routes in Girlguiding that suit your lifestyle
• Share your own journey (if you’d like!) and learn from others

And because we know guiding is about more than just volunteering, we’re keeping things social. There will be a post-session social so you can continue the conversation in a relaxed setting.

This is a space for sharing and learning – whether you’re ready to speak up or just want to listen in. Everyone’s welcome, and everyone has something to offer.

If you’d love to attend but travel costs would make it difficult, please do sign up. We want to make this event accessible to everyone. Just let us know in the sign-up form if you’d need financial support, and we’ll do our best to help with reimbursement.
