Lead volunteer for events (Scottish international team)
We’re shaking up how things are run here at Girlguiding Scotland! We’ve got a new volunteer structure and we need your skills to help to shape the future of the organisation!
The role
The events lead for the Scottish international team is responsible for development and delivery of key events in the international calendar. This is a 3-year appointment open to any adult Girlguiding Scotland member aged 18+. This role is part of the Scottish international team, which focuses on the promotion and development of international opportunities within Girlguiding Scotland.
Your profile:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to motivate and inspire girls and young women, and adult volunteers, from a broad range of backgrounds
- Ability to work remotely
- Previous experience of managing large scale events, not necessarily within Girlguiding, is desirable, but not essential
- Previous experience of international travel with Girlguiding is desirable, but not essential
