Tesco Stronger Starts

The Tesco Stronger Starts funding programme awards 3 groups quarterly after each 3 month instore customer voting period. This is a rolling programme, where community groups, charities and local authorities can apply for funding all year round. Applications are open to all local good causes, with the current priority helping projects that support young people’s health and wellbeing as well as local store nominated good causes. The cause with the most votes is awarded £1,500, second place is awarded £1,000 and third place is awarded £500 and awardees have a year to spend the funds. This is also a great opportunity for groups to promote the good work that they do locally.

The next opportunity of funding will be the January-March 2025 customer vote. Applications for this opportunity will close 5 November 2024. Applications that are unsuccessful or miss this date for the next selection round will stay in the pot to be considered for future voting rounds.
