Our first 2 sessions are only able to be booked together:
Session 1: First steps in your role (Thursday, 21 May)
This session introduces you to your role as a commissioner, it is an overview of expectations, helping you reflect on your goals, and highlighting what you may want to learn about the role. It also explains the support available to you from Girlguiding Scotland and other sources as well as the communications you can expect to receive.
Session 2: Your role as the team lead (Thursday, 28 May)
This session outlines your responsibilities as a team lead, including managing your district or division team, understanding team roles, and running effective meetings. It also covers building team culture through social activities, sharing important information, visiting units, and recognising contributions through thanks and recognition.
We also have a range of other sessions. Session 3 and 4 are standalone session for any district or division commissioner.
Session 3: Compliance for commissioners (Thursday, 11 June)

Session 4: Supporting growth as a commissioner (Thursday, 18 June)

We will be running these sessions again later in the year on a different day of the week.
