Tell me more…

Join us for this 1.5 hour session exploring your responsibilities as a commissioner in relation to growth. You’ll be introduced to people, resources and tools that will help you spot local growth opportunities and respond to challenges. The session will touch on the support available when you’re faced with trying to get to know a new area, units at risk of closure, long waiting lists and/or a need to recruit volunteers or girls. It’ll also offer ideas for making guiding more visible in your community and celebrating volunteers.

We also have a range of other sessions, sessions 1 and 2 are for new/returning commissioners who have been in role for less than a year and can only be booked together. Session 4 is another standalone session for any district or division commissioner.

Session 1: First steps in your role (Thursday, 21 May)

Session 2: Your role as the team lead (Thursday, 28 May)

If you are interested in attending the first 2 sessions, then you can book here.

Session 3: Compliance for commissioners (Thursday, 11 June)

If you would like to learn more about compliance for commissioners you can book onto the session here.

We will be running these sessions again later in the year on a different day of the week.
