Are you unsure what you want to do when you leave school? Or maybe you have ambitions to be the boss, but you’re not sure where to start? Camp CEO is here to help!
We know that 64% of 7-21 year olds want to be leaders in their chosen job and 58% of 11-21 year olds want more support in building their skills and confidence so they can become leaders of the future (Girls’ Attitudes Survey 2025). Camp CEO aims to give you the opportunity to develop skills that will help you get through exams, your first job or starting college or university. To be the best you can be, and to know that you don’t have to follow the same path as everyone else.
Across the 4 days you’ll take part in workshops on everything from goal setting and personal branding to feminist leadership and networking. You’ll work on a group project during the event which will be presented to a panel on the last morning.
You’ll have the opportunity to speak to CEOs (chief executive officers – the person in charge of an organisation) and other women in leadership positions, to ask questions and learn from them. You’ll be able to find out what other opportunities Girlguiding can offer, and we’ll have some fun downtime activities.
There will be lots of adults around to support you through all the workshops, and speaking to CEOs, to work on the group project with you and to help you make friends in your downtime.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact Rachel@girlguiding-scot.org.uk.

Camp CEO is a fully funded indoor residential event running from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 August 2026 and we’re going back to Strathallan School, just outside Perth.
Accommodation will be single-bed rooms giving you an idea of what it might be like to be in halls at university, and there are common room areas to spend time relaxing with others. Our house leaders and group leaders will always be around to support you and will run gentle, drop-in activities to help break the ice, give you a chance to meet others not in your group, and to unwind.
Strathallan is a peaceful campus in the countryside. It’s accessible by public transport and we can arrange for you to be met at a bus or train station, and dropped back there again on the Sunday. Reasonable travel costs to and from the event will be covered, and accommodation and meals for the duration of the event will be provided. Basically, it’s free to attend!
You need to be 14-18 years old, a current member of Girlguiding Scotland and be able to attend the full event, from mid-afternoon Thursday, through to early afternoon Sunday. You must be 14 or over by 31 July 2026 and under 19 until 10 August 2026. Older Guides who are 14 by 31 July 2026 can also apply.
We’re running an application process as we have limited spaces, but don’t let that put you off applying – we really want to hear from you!
To apply, please complete the form linked below:
Applications close at 11.55pm on Wednesday 11 March 2026.
As well as your application, we need a reference from an adult in Girlguiding who knows you well. For example, your unit leader or local commissioner. Please make sure your referee has completed the reference form linked below by 11.55pm on Sunday 15 March 2026. If we don’t have a reference for you, your application can’t be considered.
We will contact all applicants with a decision at the start of April 2026.
If you are a unit leader or commissioner and you know a young person who would benefit from this opportunity, please use the form below to nominate them. When we receive a nomination, we’ll email the young person and let them know someone thinks they should apply, but the nominator will remain anonymous.
Nominations will close at 11.55pm on Wednesday 4 March 2026 to allow time for nominated candidates to apply.
Are you a CEO or industry leader who has a passion for inspiring the next generation? We’re looking for a broad range of leaders from all sectors and walks of life to help our girls reach the top!
