Every new volunteer receives a welcome email from Scottish Headquarters and an invite to join one of our Getting Started With Girlguiding Scotland sessions. The sessions cover how guiding works across Scotland, what they can gain from volunteering with us and hear what to expect from our recruitment and vetting process. This demo session allows commissioners and growth coordinators get a better understanding what Girlguiding Scotland’s welcome to new volunteers looks like.

What, when, where and who for!

• What? Put yourself in the shoes of a new volunteer and listen to a Getting Started With session delivered by our lead volunteer for membership development and growth, Susan and our volunteer recruitment officer, Ali.
• When? Monday, 20 April, 7.00pm
• Where? Virtually by Zoom
• Who is it for? This is for district, division and county commissioners, and county growth and enquiry coordinators.
