- What? An opportunity to learn more about taking groups away for longer
- When? Tuesday, 23 September 7.30-9pm
- Where? Virtually by Zoom
- Who is it for? This would benefit any volunteer who has been away previously but would like to lead their own event

In this session you will:
- Learn how to timetable and manage a full weekend programme
- Explore the use of external activity providers and the logistics involved
- Discuss possible themes, managing duty groups, and supporting young members
- Understand how to lead your team effectively and plan for contingencies
This session is the second of series of sessions to support volunteers taking young members away, the others include:
- Introduction to Going Away With (GAWW
- Catering for a large group
- Going camping
You can choose to attend all of them or only the ones you that you feel would be most useful.
