The county commissioner for Girlguiding Stewartry is Kirsty Tomlin.

Girlguiding Stewartry has 200 young members and almost 30 dedicated leaders scattered throughout the county.

Kirsty says:

‘Girlguiding Stewartry is one of the smallest counties in Scotland but there are loads of exciting activities for members to get stuck into led by our incredible team of volunteers!

There are 16 units in Dalbeattie, Glenkens, Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Carrgenbridge.

From international opportunities to our Brownie Bash, we aim to offer girls great opportunities. Some of our girls have travelled as far afield as Sweden, Switzerland and Mexico.’
