Since the 1940s generations of girls have camped, tried outdoor adventures and made friends and memories for life at Netherurd.
As a member of Friends of Netherurd, you can help to support Scottish guiding’s home from home to bring fun and adventure to Girlguiding Scotland members now and into the future.
How has Friends of Netherurd helped so far?
Since the group started in 1980, Friends of Netherurd has raised more than £95,000. As well as supporting vital refurbishments, it’s funded projects such as building a bridge over the burn, creating a labyrinth in the grounds and a musical play park for young visitors to enjoy.
Can I join?
Friends of Netherurd is always pleased to welcome new members. You don’t need to be a Girlguiding Scotland member to join – whether you are parent to an enthusiastic Brownie or the friend of a dedicated Leader, you are welcome to join Friends of Netherurd.
There are three categories of membership:
- Annual – £7 per year
- Long term – £25 for five years
- Group – £10 per year, which is the perfect membership for a unit, District or County who have enjoyed their time at Netherurd
Benefits of joining
You’ll receive a regular newsletter keeping you in the loop with what’s going on at Netherurd and you can join the chat over on our Facebook group. We’ll also be pleased to welcome you to our annual Friends Day, were you’ll get the opportunity to catch up with friends and raise some funds.
Most importantly, you’ll be joining a group of people who all care about Netherurd and who help generations of girls and Leaders across Scotland the chance to be themselves, have fun and try new adventures.
