So without further ado we want to hear from you – tell us why you love guiding! There are lots of easy and seriously fun ways to do this…

How to take part

Choose how you’d like to share your story with us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter from the options below. This is a great opportunity to step into the spotlight and get creative, on your own, or with your friends! Don’t forget to tag us @GirlguidingScot using #IBelong:

• You could make a short video (or a TikTok) which shows what guiding means to you
• Write a song or choose one of your favourite tunes and make up your own lyrics to tell us why you love guiding
• Share a photo of your favourite guiding memory and tell us why it means a lot to you. Get as creative as you like! Could you make a gif, a meme or a fun Insta-story?
• Draw or paint a picture! Or go a step further and make a comic strip or write and illustrate a short story
• Design a piece of clothing to show off your love for Girlguiding – can you decorate a t-shirt, maybe a hat? Or make a bracelet?
• Have you thought of another way you’d like to share your story that’s not on this list? We can’t wait to see it!

We want to celebrate you, your guiding journey and our Girlguiding Scotland community this World Thinking Day. So, we’d love for everyone to get involved and share what you’ve come up with on social media on Monday 22 February, and throughout the following weeks!
