Sometimes it’s nice to have a break from social media, turn Netflix off, and put down your phone. It can be hard to switch off but being free of screens for an hour before bed is really important for your sleep.

2. The great outdoors

Summer’s almost here which is a great excuse to head outside with your unit in the nicer weather – why not explore a local park or plan a walk?

3. Try something new

From zip wiring to zorbing – don’t be afraid to try out an exciting new sport.

4. Practise some yoga

Did you know that doing some basic yoga moves is a great way to wind down and chill out? Plus, you can get your whole unit involved, too – check out our Pinterest board for ideas

5. Drink lots of water

We know it’s easy to forget but it is really important to drink lots of water, it even helps you concentrate better. You could always pop a reminder in your phone.

6. Stay mentally healthy

Did you know that 69% of 7-21 year olds feel they aren’t good enough? So, building mental resilience is really important – why not invite a peer educator to your unit to deliver Think Resilient?

7. Be your own best friend

Don’t be too hard on yourself if things go wrong and get in to the habit of saying, or writing, nice things about yourself every morning to help boost your confidence throughout the day.

8. Smoothie maker

Not only are they so easy to make, they’re delicious, too! All you need is a few handfuls of your favourite fruits, some water and plain yoghurt. Then just mix everything together.
