The role

The lead volunteer for volunteer experience is a key role within our new structure, focusing on ensuring that adult volunteers have access to high quality learning and development opportunities, enabling them to feel confident and supported in their roles.

The person in this role will contribute to the delivery of Girlguiding Scotland’s strategy as a member of Girlguiding Scotland’s operational board. As a member of the board, the volunteer will work in partnership with other senior volunteers and staff to commission, coordinate and report on the delivery of key projects and to manage the ongoing activities of Girlguiding Scotland. This is a senior volunteer role, therefore it does require a significant time commitment.
