Travel fund
The travel fund subsidises the cost of travel to Girlguiding events as well as Girlguiding Scotland promoted events and training happening elsewhere in Scotland.
*Applications should be submitted at least 3 months before date of travel.*
To be eligible for funding, at least one of the following criteria must apply:
- Members are travelling from geographically remote areas of Scotland
- Members are attending a Scottish member participation events (e.g. Wander the World).
- Members are attending a Girlguiding Scotland event, with the exception of invitation events where travel is funded by Girlguiding Scotland or explicitly stated as a local expense
Applicants must also be able to demonstrate that they have applied to other available sources of funds such as parents and unit, district, division, or county support.
To apply, complete and return the application form to us at least three months before you expect to travel.
