Peer Education Info Evening

Become a peer educator and give girls a space to talk about what’s important to them!

Wednesday 8 February, 7.30-8.30pm Zoom

Becoming a peer educator is about changing the world – one girl at a time.

Peer educators are role models for thousands of girls around the UK.  If you’re aged 14-25, you can help Brownies, Guides and Rangers (and even young people outside Girlguiding) explore important topics like mental wellbeing, safety and gender stereotypes.   You’ll run fun activities which have been developed in partnership with girls and experts. And as a young person, you’ll use your own experience to bring subjects to life.

What’s it all about?

As a peer educator, you’ll visit Brownie, Guide and Ranger unit meetings. You’ll deliver sessions on things girls have told us they want to explore. You’ll create a safe space for them to discuss subjects like building resilience, challenging gender stereotypes or making a stand for safety. And you’ll run activities which give them tools to support them through the rest of their lives.
