This will be a series of 4 sessions that are designed to support both new and experienced local commissioners.

Each session will cover a different area of the local commissioner role from building your team to compliance.

Session 1: An introduction to your role as a commissioner, thinking about support for you and building your team and what a commissioner does.

Session 2: Managing you team, running meetings and having difficult conversations.

Session 3: Looking at compliance, from financial to safeguarding and what it means to be a trustee.

Session 4: Thinking about recruitment and ensuring a warm welcome locally.

The sessions will be held, on Zoom, from 7.30-9.00pm on the following dates:

• Thursday, 10 October (session 1)
• Thursday, 17 October (session 2)
• Thursday, 24 October (session 3)
• Thursday, 7 November (session 4)
