Girlguiding Dumfriesshire has around 900 members, 50 units and a very active Trefoil Guild.
Jean Purves, lead volunteer for Girlguiding Dumfriesshire, says:
“Dumfriesshire is a rural County which covers a huge geographical area from Sanquhar in the North to Langholm in the South.
Our County headquarters are based in Dumfries and include our archive centre, meeting space and local volunteer-run shop.
We have loads of fun locally and further afield.
This summer our Assistant County Commissioner, Diane, is even going to Cambodia as a part of a Girlguiding Scotland international project.”
