Tracy Dryburgh, County Commissioner for Girlguiding Angus, says:
“Angus is a rural County, with over 1,100 girls in 84 units, supported by 45 Young Leaders and over 200 Adult members.
Our young members are offered a wealth of different experiences – including a County Rainbow trip to Edinburgh Zoo, Brownie sleepovers at Blair Drummond Safari Park and Glasgow Science Museum. Our Guides have had International Trips and outdoor adventures at the County Raft Race, and The Senior Section members celebrated The Senior Section Spectacular by getting involved in various events including Dash to Ulster, Use your Voice and they attended the Centenary Ball in Manchester.
Leaders and adult members have also had the opportunity of travel internationally, County weekends at Netherurd and local training and social events.
Our County Campsite, Ladenford Den, is an excellent venue for outdoors adventures. You can roam in the woods which has a burn running through part of it and a wonderful campfire circle. You may choose to sleep under canvas on the campsite or indoors in the Hut.”
