Gail Fox and Carol Morwood

Gail Fox and Carol Morwood support the Scottish Chief Commissioner and provide individual support to Girlguiding Scotland counties.

Scottish Chief Commissioner Moira McKenna says:

Carol and Gail have helped thousands of girls join in the fun and adventure through a wide range of roles at a county, Scottish and even international level and I’m really looking forward to working with them both to support our volunteers and give girls even more opportunities.

Carol Morwood is currently a leader with the 198A Guides and Joint Chair of Learning and Development for Girlguiding Scotland but she has volunteered in a wide range of roles at county, Scottish, UK and international level.

She says:

Being a part of Girlguiding Scotland has offered me more adventures than I could have ever imagined when I joined as a Brownie age 7!

As a Guide leader, I’ve had the chance to see hundreds of girls grow in confidence and realise their potential.

I’m really looking forward to getting to meet even more of our brilliant young members and adult volunteers across Scotland.

Gail Fox is a leader with the 1st Tweedbank Guides and is currently county commissioner for Girlguiding Tweed Valley.

She says:

As a young member and an adult volunteer Girlguiding Scotland has offered me so many opportunities to take on new challenges, gain new skills and make lifelong friends.

It’s great to be part of a fantastic team and I’m really looking forward to working with all our members to help create even more excitement for girls across Scotland.
