Carol supports the Scottish chief commissioner and, along with the other Deputy Scottish Chief Commissioners Gail Fox and Lisa Millar, provides individual support to Girlguiding Scotland counties.
The deputy Scottish chief commissioners work with members and volunteers across Scotland to help create a more exciting future for Girlguiding Scotland where girls continue to grow in confidence and realise their potential.
Carol is currently a leader with the 198A Guides and has volunteered in a wide range of roles at county, Scottish, UK and International level.
She says: “I’m delighted to be taking on this new role as deputy Scottish chief commissioner. Being a part of Girlguiding Scotland has offered me more adventures than I could have ever imagined when I joined as a Brownie age 7!
I’m really looking forward to getting to meet even more of our brilliant young members and adult volunteers across Scotland.
