We also have a team of staff who work in our Scottish HQ in Edinburgh, in our Edinburgh and Glasgow guiding shops and at Netherurd, our house in the Borders offering meetings, events and outdoor activities.
Meet some of our people:
Denise is responsible for delivering Girlguiding Scotland’s strategy and managing our staff and finances.
Alison is the PA to our Chief Executive, supports our board of Trustees and generally helps to keep everything at Girlguiding Scotland ship-shape and in order.
If you call Girlguiding Scotland it will probably be Frankie that picks up the phone to help out or put you in touch with the right person.
Carolyn manages the Marketing and Communications team, which is responsible for raising our charity’s profile and engaging members by showcasing the fun and adventure of Scottish guiding in the media and online.
Kirsty leads on money and business matters at Girlguiding Scotland. She also runs our guiding shops and online store, helping to generate income as well as oversee the spending of it!
Louise manages a small team responsible for attracting and retaining volunteers and helping Scottish guiding units to grow and thrive.
Janice manages Netherurd, Girlguiding Scotland's very own mansion house in the Scottish Borders used for outdoor activities, camps, meetings and events.
Laura runs the Guiding Development team, which works with volunteers to get big events like our Tartan Gig, Big Brownie Birthday celebrations and G in the Park festival off the ground. The team also builds external partnerships.
