JugglingJuggling

Juggling develops concentration, eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills. It has also been proved to help improve reading and behaviour.

In Midlothian, Guides had a great time, first making the juggling balls then trying them out. There were balls all over the place and girls were dashing here and there trying to catch them! They were very encouraging to each other and everyone was thrilled when anyone managed three balls in the air, even if briefly. One Patrol enjoyed this session so much they went on to complete the Circus Skills badge.

"Before camp I couldn't ride a unicycle or juggle, but I really enjoyed the chance to try it."
Debra aged 12, Guide from Midlothian

"We had great fun with Bubbles the Clown. He showed us lots of different tricks. I could manage with two balls but as soon as I tried three, they all ended up on the floor!"
Shona aged 14, Guide from Inverness-shire
