Baking
When it came to the baking the girls learned that a good kitchen needs good teamwork, initiative and tolerance.
A ready Steady Cook competition was held amongst several Guide Patrols in Midlothian. Each Patrol had to organise part of the competition for another to do - this required a good deal of advance planning.
"We had to use our initiative and make a meal from the ingredients we were given on the night! The Patrol enjoyed allocating tasks and pulling it all together. It was a good team effort!"
