Midlothian has more than 1,200 members, with 60 units for girls and young women and two Trefoil Guilds.
Gill Amos, County Commissioner for Girlguiding Midlothian, says:
“Our county may be one of the smallest but we make up for it in energy, activities and a fun-filled programme of events.
“Our Trefoil Guild recently swam the length of the Channel – albeit in stages at the local swimming pool!
“We’re also really excited to be the first Girlguiding Scotland county to appoint a Science Adviser, who inspires our young members and helps them complete science challenges and badges.”
