Developing guiding fund

If your project supports Girlguiding Scotland’s growing guiding strategy and aims to have a positive impact on the opportunities available to our young members then you could be eligible for help of up to £1000.

The funding, provided by The Gannochy Trust, is available to Divisions, Districts and Counties in Scotland. It can be used for new projects which extend, develop and enhance local guiding, such as leadership training for volunteers, events for prospective volunteers, county camps to encourage girls to move up sections or ‘taster days’ for girls on waiting lists and their parents. To be inspired by recent projects supported by the Gannochy Trust check out these funding examples.

Read the guidance notes and fill out an application form. For more information contact louise@girlguiding-scot.org.uk A Commissioner will need to sign off on all applications but Louise (louise@girlguiding-scot.org.uk) at Scottish Headquarters is on hand to help you with the form. The next funding round closes on 14 June so get in touch now.

Funding is also available for Girlguiding Scotland Regions that would like to work together on a project to deliver positive impacts for girls across multiple Counties.
