We’re looking for a member to work with our Membership Growth & Development Working Group on a short-term project as an Inspire and Innovate Interviewer role to help with recruiting new volunteers.

We want someone that enjoys talking and listening to people first and foremost. You’ll arrange and hold telephone or Skype interviews with volunteers/ volunteer teams that have taken part in different types of recruitment events over the last 12 months.
Also, you’ll definitely have a passion for guiding and be excited about the prospect of hearing about efforts to grow guiding across Scotland. You’ll be confident that you’re able to dedicate the time needed to meet the overall project deadline of May 2020.
The information you collect will provide content for our website and help us to support and inspire local guiding. We’ll use your interviews to create best practice guides that will be shared with county commissioners, growth teams and PRAs.
This role will help you to develop your interviewing techniques which may benefit you in and beyond guiding. You’ll have the opportunity to speak to people from across Scotland and hear ideas that may help you in your current guiding role or inspire you take on a new role in the future. You’ll be shaping future approaches to growing guiding at a Scottish-level.
