If your project supports Girlguiding Scotland’s growing guiding strategy and aims to have a positive impact on the opportunities available to our young members then you could be eligible for help of up to £1000.
The funding, provided by The Gannochy Trust, is available to Divisions, Districts and Counties in Scotland. It can be used for new projects which extend, develop and enhance local guiding, such as leadership training for volunteers, events for prospective volunteers, county camps to encourage girls to move up sections or ‘taster days’ for girls on waiting lists and their parents. To be inspired by recent projects supported by the Gannochy Trust check out these funding examples.
To find out more about Developing Guiding Funding for Districts, Divisions and Counties check out the guidance notes and to apply please download and complete the application form. A Commissioner will need to sign off on all applications but for more information please contact Louise at Scottish Headquarters who will be able to help you with the form.
Funding is also available for Girlguiding Scotland Regions that would like to work together on a project to deliver positive impacts for girls across multiple Counties. To find out more about funding for Regional projects, contact Louise.
Applications can be submitted at any time but will only be reviewed on the 14 September and 14 November 2017 so get in touch now.
