Inspirational and talented women not listed….

We are aware that this is far from a comprehensive and finite list of all the inspirational and/or talented women from Scotland. If it was, we would have started with interviewing every one of our 10,000 volunteer leaders in Guiding who dedicate their time and energy to help thousands of girls across Scotland reach their potential.

Despite being a tiny, busy department in a charity, we really have tried to interview a wide range of interesting women from all walks of life, but tracking down and getting an interview from each one took some time! Also, there were several women (and therefore walks of life that could have been represented) who chose not to take part.

We would still love to add to this list, when we can and are always open to suggestions.

If you have an email contact for a woman from Scotland who has accomplished a significant achievement or has a special talent or is in some way exceptional and an inspirational example to young women, we would like to hear from you.

We have and will continue to do our very best to profile a wide range of inspirational women, given our time and resources.
