I rate this interview as **** (fascinating, great)
"For someone who knows very little about Aileen Paterson, as I do, this interview is an interesting insight into her life. There is a strong sense of how highly Aileen values her Scottish roots. I really liked the fact that she is still using good old Scottish words in her writing today.
Aileen has made me realise that I still have time to think about writing. Knowing that a highly successful women, such as her, didn't decide to write until later on in her life, gives me the chance to explore other things but come back to writing in the future.
Her thoughts of life as a brownie are ones just like mine! It seemed to be a chance to rebel after being so good in school and at home! I agree with her that girls and boys should be kept separate for some things. It makes things easier for people, mainly girls, to come out of their shells and relax.
Overall I found this interview full of thought and interesting facts about the great life of Aileen Paterson."
