"This is an amazing interview, it gives so many inspirational quotes that you just have to bundle up to bring out when you are feeling that you may not succeed in doing something. These are the types of things our young women require to hear and Liz is saying it, 'Live the Dream!'
Young people tend to give up too easily now I think someone as focused as Liz could maybe be really good at keeping this focus on what they really want from life and encourage them that they are able to achieve it if they work hard enough.
The way she described it reminds me of when i cycle during the summer in and around Dundee and Angus, the breath taking scenery and all the places to visit. Liz said she earned her knitting badge by going to an aunt's house who helped her this is the sort of thing that Guiding is meant to do - broaden your horizon and try new activities.
I am amazed that Liz finds the time to bring up 5 children, my hat comes off to her. I just feel so motivated by her life, such an interesting story to read, and to top it all she was part of Girlguiding Scotland and in particular my home county of Dundee."
