I rate this interview as **** (fascinating, great)
"I thought it was fascinating that Kaye had always intended to be a lawyer but it just didn't happen. It's funny how things happen in life and your whole career direction changes. I'm glad she did end up as a journalist/broadcaster though, I love Loose Women!
It's interesting that Kaye, like so many of these incredible women, can't remember what badges she got at Guides or many activities she did. But what shines through each interview is that they thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience and the badges etc weren't the point, the confidence and opportunities they gained were. I hope Kaye will forgive me and agree with that extrapolation of her thoughts, it just occurred to me that it's a theme in a many of the interviews.
I definitely agree with Kaye about how important laughter and loyalty are. It always looks like they're having a ball on Loose Women and I'm glad it's genuine. A decent laugh with good friends makes everything seem better (in fact even reading about the benefits of it made me smile and I've just fallen off my bike and am sore and bruised!). An interview that cheers you up, now that's got to be worth reading. :o)"
