Karen Dunbar - Comedian
Karen has her own show on the BBC and a star of 'Chewin the Fat' . Karen is from Ayrshire South where she was a Brownie and is an Ambassador for Glasgow."What's most important is what you think of yourself rather than what other people's perceptions are of you."
Its got to be the Top of the Red Road flats because of the incredible view - I particularly love watching Bonfire Night from up there.
I would have to choose Scotch and Rye - it always brings back great memories of Hogmany.
Happy .Generous . Singing . Frozen
Well, it wasn't me - but someone stopped my Dad once and said he knew his daughter was in Chewing the Fat - but which women was she! It took a while for my Dad to convince him that I played all the women. I thought that was pretty flattering.

I was sitting alone on a flight to London and the air hostess offered me a place at the VIP bit "out of the way" so I wouldn't get bothered by people. She explained she had had the actress who plays Janice Battersby on Coronation Street on a flight recently and she took up the offer as she was getting hassled by fans.
I said I was grateful - but was sure I'd be fine. She agreed and said "well yes - you're no Janice Battersby are you!" That always makes me laugh when I remember it - helps me keep me feet on the ground!!
I really like doing Shoeless Josie - the Glasgow drunk. She's a mix between sad and funny -I'm afraid she's based on me and my friends when we were teenagers. In fact a lot of people say they recognise her - you can always find a "Josie" in any city on a Saturday night.
The teacher in Chewing the Fat was a direct impression of a teacher I had at school. Sadly she died before I had the chance to find out if she recognised herself!
More of the same. I absolutely love my job, so want to continue - but on a bigger scale. I would like to the show to be shown globally of course - but in the UK would be a good start!
The range of different girls from different backgrounds and how much they all support each other in what they do.
Dawn French! Whether it's in her sketch shows or just being herself - she's always really funny and genuine.
I worried too much about what people thought of me. I'm still working on it but I have learned that what's most important is what you think of yourself rather than what other people's perceptions are of you.
I would choose an inspirational fable called The Alchemist by Paul Coelho about living life to the full and fulfilling your dreams. Ultimately the character - Santiago learns that if we should listen to our heart, for "it knows all things".
The most important message to take from this wonderful tale about life's journey is "Where your treasure is, there also will be your heart." and "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."
Fernando by Abba - you can't take yourself too seriously sing that song! The last time I sung it was at Hogmany in George Square and it was fantastic fun.
My top three albulms are:
The Miseducation of Lauren Hill - Lauren Hill
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Shirley Bassey - The Remix Album - which is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend anyone
to have a listen.
My most embarrassing is 100 Favourite Nursery Rhyme. The Inch Worm song is very special to
me
..
Any charity that helps develop young people's potential like Girlguiding or The Princes Trust . I am really impressed by The Princes Trust gave me a head start by supporting me when I was 20 and I am very grateful to them. They are a fantastic organisation.
