Wendy Alexander - MSP
A member of the first Scottish Cabinet, Wendy is regarded as one of the most influential politicians in the country. Wendy was born in Glasgow and was a Brownie and Guide."The highlights of my job are having the chance to make a real difference."
The creation of the National Health Service - so the care you get when you are ill does not depend on how much money you or your family may have.
The highlights are having the chance to make a real difference. E.g. introducing the right for all old people to have a central heating system installed if they did not have one. The lowlights are being unable to fix an injustice that a constituent has suffered.

Teamwork - it is not always easy to get a Patrol to work together, know what they want to do and enjoy doing it together. Being Swallow Patrol Leader taught me a lot about life and how different we all are.
How I looked.
Climb Ben Nevis.
My husband Brian - but since people are not possessions - our cat!
Old friends, recalling good times.
