- Girlguiding Scotland is Scotland's largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women and is part of an international organisation with over 10 million members worldwide.
- Girlguiding Scotland has over 60,000 members and supporters in Scotland. In the UK there are about 600,000 members and supporters.
- Our vision is to be recognised as the leading organisation for girls and young women and to widen and increase our membership.

- We are a charity recognised by the Inland Revenue in Scotland and are funded by membership subscriptions and through our trading arm.
- There are over 9,000 trained adult volunteers in Scotland. There are over 4000 girls wanting to join Units on waiting lists because we need more adult volunteers.
