Introduction

Mari BiondiI am Mari Biondi and I have been in Guiding since I was 4 and a member of the Owlets (before Rainbows). I was a Brownie in 5th Kilwinning Pack and then a Guide in 5th Kilwinning Guides. I then became Assistant Guider with my mother in my old Brownie Pack and for the last 7 years I am now the Guider. I am also the Marketing and Communications Advisor for the County.

Please contact me if you require any more information on Guiding within Ayrshire North.

WalkingOur members have been lucky to have participated in both County and Scottish Pack holidays. Our Guides enjoyed a very successful trip to France. We also hosted the International Camp at Blair where we saw girls from many corners of the Globe join with us for a very memorable week.

We are looking for...

If you are enthusiastic, looking for new challenges and want to be part of a team of dedicated women we could be what you are looking for or maybe you have a certain skill that you can share with us. The lists are endless.

Guiding offers a chance to meet new people, helps with confidence and leadership skills. It can be both challenging and a lot of hard work but extremely enjoyable and very rewarding.

Quote from one of our members:
"I began as an Assistant Leader in my local guide unit, to help a friend out and have something else on my CV. I never anticipated enjoying Girlguiding so much. I have gained lots of confidence, developed my leadership skills, met new friends and enjoyed working with the girls. It's not always great, like everything there are evenings when I say never again, but the good times far out weigh the trying times. I would recommend it to anyone."

An adult leader.
