Celebrate World Thinking Day 2019 by coming along to Wander the World: Edinburgh Edition!

Join us for this all-section wide game takes place throughout Edinburgh on Saturday 23 February 2019.

What’s happening?

This event is open to all Girlguiding members from all sections, completing challenges inspired by the five WAGGGS World Centres and the new programme themes! You will receive special event beanie hats upon arriving to McEwan Hall)

There’s going to be two sessions:

Session 1 – 10am-2.30pm. *(We suggest you choose this session if you are travelling less 90 minutes to attend)

Session 2 – 12-4.30pm. *(We suggest you choose this session if you are travelling more than 90 minutes to attend)

You’ll set-off from McEwan Hall at the heart of the University of Edinburgh Campus, where you’ll receive a special beanie hat and your mission pack telling you what tasks your group will need to complete.

The event will conclude with a return to the McEwan Hall for a special promise ceremony led by Scottish chief commissioner Moira McKenna.

Who is it for?

This event is open to all Girlguiding members from all sections. You’ll be competing in groups of a maximum of 10 to navigate the streets of Edinburgh.

How much will it cost?

Tickets will cost £16.50 per person (includes booking fee)

What should I bring?

Everyone will need to bring their own food and drinks and this event will involve outdoor activities so wrap up warm!
