Calling all 16-18 year olds interested in politics!
Not only does this year mark 100 years since some women gained the right to vote for the first time, it’s also 60 years since the Life Peerage Act was passed which allowed women to sit in the House of Lords for the first time.
To celebrate and get more girls and young women engaged in politics the UK Parliament are offering 6 places for girls (16-18) the chance to shadow Members of the House of Lords on 31 October 2018.

You’ll get to go behind the scenes, get stuck into fun-filled activities and even enjoy lunch with your female peer!
