Dundee

Girlguiding Dundee is flourishing with more than 1,200 girls in Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and members of The Senior Section, more than 250 leaders and three Trefoil Guilds.

Janice Coates and Lesley Blyth share the role of county commissioner for Girlguiding Dundee. Along with them are Abbi Fleming and Alison Ryder assistant county commissioners who help run “Team CC” in Dundee. They say:

“Welcome to Girlguiding Dundee – a thriving county whose members meet weekly in different units throughout Dundee, Monifieth, Invergowrie, Muirhead and Wellbank.

Our county is always busy and making sure our girls have a fantastic experience. We run a volunteer guide shop in the city centre for all your guiding needs. We also run an outdoor centre at Newbigging in rural Perthshire which has a campsite, holiday house and, if you fancy camping in a more glamorous way, you can always book one of our wigwams. Archery sessions are also now available so don’t forget to book a session during your stay!

Come and join us in Dundee and enjoy the friendship and the rewards of volunteering.”
