Girlguiding Ayrshire North has more than 3,000 young women and volunteers. The County stretches as far north as Largs down to Irvine on the west coast of Scotland, across to Kilmarnock, Stewarton and Darvel. It also includes the two islands of Arran and Cumbrae.
The County is home to the Blair Activity Centre and the famous Ayrwaves International Camp which are two experiences in themselves! It also hosted G in the Park, Girlguiding Scotland’s first ever festival-style camp, this summer.
Girlguiding Ayrshire North recently welcomed Helen Shedden as their new County Commissioner along with Assistant County Commissioner Shiona Gilmour. Helen and Shiona are always keen to welcome new girls, young women and volunteers.
