Aberdeen is a busy and cosmopolitan County with more than 2,300 members in 111 units, plus two Trefoil Guilds and a Friends of Guiding group.
Caroline Gray and Helen Shaw are currently sharing the role of County Commissioner in the City of Aberdeen. Caroline says:
“The County has a great campsite that’s just a stone’s throw away from the city at 16th century Crathes Castle, and a holiday home near Inverurie which young members regularly visit for trips and holidays.
Girlguiding Aberdeen has its headquarters in the city, including a volunteer shop which sells Girlguiding uniform and quirky guiding gifts. It’s also a great space for holding training events and meetings.”
