Carrie Mac

Carrie Mac photoThis 23 year-old singer/songwriter, hailing from Edinburgh, instantly charms with her music and her smile.

Carrie grew up singing into tape decks and playing the violin over and over again. It wasn't until she was 18 that anybody knew she could actually sing and by the age of 20 she had taught herself to play guitar and started writing songs.

It was the combination of doing hundreds of gigs all over Scotland, her charm, talent and determination that led her to win the Radio Forth One To Watch Award in 2008 and the subsequent support slots with The Proclaimers, Sandi Thom and Tommy Reilly. Carrie has also recently supported Diana Vickers and Alex Gardner.

Her fantastic debut single ‘Hello’ will be released on 29th August, with her debut album planned for release later this year.
